I recently poked Tara - haven't heard from her in awhile. Not to spill her personal shit all over my LJ but long-story short = she likes money. Then it hit me. I'm the one in charge of this operation. I'm the one hiring people. They don't need to be english majors - just people willing to do the work and do good work. I know plenty of people who could benefit from this!

But - the fact I'm able to help people out money-wise really puts a smile on my face. It's not a full-time job - but it's better than nothing. You know how if you watched something when you were younger, and you watch it again now, you have a better understanding of it? Well, I've felt that was a lot with many things. Most recently with one of my utmost favorite movies of all ever time, The Fifth Element.

Okay, so I saw the Die Hard movies back then. I knew who Bruce Willis was. But a great lot of us were getting introduced to the hotness of Milla Jovovich and the WTFness of Chris Tucker. I didn't and still don't know Ian Holm outside the fact that he was in the Lord of the Rings movies and did a voice in Ratatouille as Skinner, but nowadays, I see that this movie got a triple dose of power from Léon, as it had the same antagonist (Gary Oldman, who GODDAMN is a master of disguise), the same composer (Éric Serra) and hell, even the same director (Luc Besson).

No wonder this movie kicks so much ass. XD

But I tell you, I love this movie so goddamn much. It has action, comedy, interesting characters, locale, and an AWESOME story. And Leeloo is still one of the best characters to pull off a triple mix of hot, adorable, and BADASS. Everytime you saw her was a treat, especially when she was still learning the human customs and language.



No denying.

I find some amusing moments, too, which some people might overlook. There are some points that segway all too well, like when Leeloo is explaining to Cornelius about the whereabouts of the stones, all the while Zorg discovering that they're not in the crate they are supposed to be in, the moments before the shuttle to Fhloston Paradise takes off, and several parts at the end, just to name a few.

Another thing is this: Bruce Wilis is Korben Dallas, the main protagonist of the film. Gary Oldman is Jean-Baptiste Emmanuel Zorg, the main antagonist. Not once. NOT. ONCE. Do they ever meet face to face. Zorg meets Cornelius and he confronts Leeloo, but the closest Korben's ever been to Zorg is that he worked at one of the taxi companies run by him. There was a part near the end where as Korben and party are boarding an elevator to the docking bay of Fhloston Paradise, Zorg is getting off the one right next to it and just misses them. After eying the elevator they escaped in to, he limps off on his way. I think that was pretty interesting.

But yeah, it's definitely one of my favorite movies. Maybe even one of THE. I'll always pop in and never get bored of it at any point. The only other movie to have that effect on me is The Dark Knight, so for almost 11 years, The Fifth Element reigned supreme for me.

If you haven't seen it by now, I HIGHLY suggest it. It's been re-released onto DVD and Blue-Ray more times than I can count, so it's always going to be around.

The malware thing hasn't come back up. I found a way to deactivate it by using the task manager to end the process. But I think it's still in the computer. I downloaded a program called Spyware Doctor and it did indeed detect it and any other viruses my computer has. Unfortunately it won't remove them because I have to PAY for that. Why can't anti-spyware programs be for FREE, god damnit?

Well, I'll have to think on that for the time being right now, the latest One Piece chapter came today and we'll have to savor it because it's taking ANOTHER FRIGGIN' BREAK next week. What's WITH these breaks, anyway? Bah, no matter...

I've seen a few movies about gorillas in the past. I can't remember which two they were, but I can tell you that this wasn't one of them. But from the look of things this movie made them 20 times better then this. Who kills off Bruce Campbell so easily, anyway?

Plus, as awesome as Tim Curry is, that has got to be the worst Russian accent I've heard anyone say. YOU'RE BRITISH, DERNIT. YOU CAN'T HIDE THAT.

Now I have to get ready for work. I think I can say this is honestly the worst week of workshifts I ever had. Too many off them are at least 6 - 8 hours and one of them starts at 7:30 AM this Saturday. I really wonder why they need ME so much these days...

So in case you haven't read off my Twitter or Diskmaster's LJ, (though I don't know why he felt the need to tell people about it on HIS LJ...) my computer got infected with a malware virus.

It's something called "Antivirus System Pro," which constantly tells me my programs are infected and won't let me use them unless I purchase the software. God damn scam.

First time I encountered it, all I did was reset the computer and it didn't come back. Second time around, Diskmaster gave me a program called "Malware Bytes" and after resetting the computer again, I used it and it removed several things off the computer and it didn't come back.

Now yesterday it comes back again, but this time after resetting the comp it came back, and now not only is it doing the same crap as before but now it's opening random windows and tabs of porn sites and the website for Viagra. And this time Malware Bytes only removed one thing and didn't detect ANYTHING when I tried running it on Safe Mode this morning.

I really don't know what to do. Diskmaster suggests I reformat the computer but I REALLY don't want to. I've got too many programs and stuff that I don't wanna lose. Mom suggests that we take it to a computer place to have it taken care of, and from the look of things that will end up being my next option. Tho I have been looking up sites to find any other progrmas that could potentially remove it since McAfee fails thanks to the virus. But we'll have to do something about it soon because mom needs the computer as well since she borrows it a lot and I -NEED- it to complete my projects for my COBOL and Visual Basic classes and won't be able to do it if this god damn malware prevents them from opening.

This is one of the reasons I hate the internet sometimes. Can't go to a simple website without having some P.O.S. virus that some asshole invented just for cheap thrills or whatever their intention was.

I'll try and see how to fix things for the time being one way or another...

Wow do I like Champions online.

I tried it out. Thought it was okay. Didn't think much of it. Kept wanting to play it more and more. Wow was seeming like sure a chore. Did I make a rhyme? Whatever.

I played around with basically all the powers / travel powers. And I finally found the most OP combination. Psychic and Teleportation. Psychic just dominates - combine that with teleportation - you can just POOF out of bad situation - unlike everything else where you gotta fly away - or run away - or whatever.

Teleportation POOF I'm ontop of a tree bitches. What cha gon' do now!

As for me? I dunno guys - I'm not good at this whole putting my feelings out there thing. I've never really been comfortable talking about how I feel or what's going on in my life but I guess here goes.

I haven't been happy. Nothing bad's happened, I'm not sick, I'm just... unhappy. I haven't felt like working on Shades of Green, I haven't felt like going to school, I haven't felt like doing anything. You know it's bad when you don't even feel like going to bed. I'm just not feeling it lately and it sucks. If I knew what brought this on I would probably feel better about it, but that's the worst part: I don't really have a reason to be depressed. Nothing bad's happened... I guess, in the end, that's just it - Nothing's happened, period. I'm in a rut. I've tired myself out. I just don't feel like doing anything anymore.

I feel like I'm wasting my time at school. I can't say that without sounding like a cocky jackass but it's just how I feel. I draw. That's my thing. I wanna do art. But here I am suffering through Biology twice a week because it's a required class for an AA. It's bullshit. I don't need to know the difference between prokaryotic and eukaryotic cell division. It's the most brutally soul-sucking thing I've ever subjected myself to.

Last semester I took Drawing and Computer Art and Art Appreciation and, gasp! I actually LEARNED things that will HELP me - only to find out all of them were considered "electives" as part of the art degree I was going for, and that I still need like 40 credit hours under Science and Math and Humanities and WHY, GOD.

I wouldn't call it being lazy - I've been doing everything required of me - it's just... I really don't feel like doing anything. I know I'm belaboring the point but there's really no better words to describe how I feel right now. I just don't feel like it.

I don't even feel like typing anymore. I'm gonna go make mac and cheese.

If Windows 7 doesn't make the tablet functionality on this thing work better, I'm sending it back to Fujitsu and getting another Toshiba.

Well this October has been something else. Daylight Savings time snuck up on me pretty quickly. But before it ended, at the most perfect timing ever last night did Alan finish up my latest commission:

The Wise Mankey vs. Freddy Krueger

So if everyone remembers the story, (or didn't know/care about it at all) two years ago when I went to Universal Orlando for Halloween Horror Nights: Carnival of Carnage, I got extremely freaked out by the first house we went into being A Nightmare on Elm Street: Dreamwalkers. I felt the need to go into it since I had a legit fear of Freddy and wanted to face him head-on. When I did, I got so scared that out of instinct I actually got a hold of his glove for a few seconds before he disappeared. In my raging fear, I shouted out "YOU SON OF A BITCH, I'LL KILL YOU!" And despite being hidden, he shouted back "NOT IF I KILL YOU FIRST!" After that, I couldn't go through the rest of the house without nearly losing control of myself everytime he showed up again or something scary happened. If mom wasn't there holding me back, God only knows what I could have done.

But you get the idea. After that exchange, I decided to make a commission out of it where my character in his X-Scarred Heart form is locked in a fight with Freddy and sharing the same dialogue we did in the Dreamwalkers house. Think of it as a "based on true events" thing. Except without the scratch marks on my body. =P

In other news, I saw Cirque Du Freak: The Vampire's Assistant with Crystal last night because we needed SOMETHING to do last night for Halloween. We were planning to go to a party but it got cancelled. Anyway, it was an alright movie. Pretty good premise, good acting. I think the execution could have been better because there was a certain wow factor I felt it was lacking. But other then that it was pretty decent. I wouldn't say it was a RECOMMENDED watch but if you got a spare moment, give it a look if you like vampires and freak shows. I will say that it's a thousand times better then whatever Twilight will be tho. But then again, anything else is. ;P

So, I'm going to try to get back into the habit of working out every morning.  But, with the treadmill's motor still burnt out, I'm going to try to play DDR for 10-15 minutes for cardio instead.  See if I can lose at least five more pounds by Christmas.

Work wouldn't let me wear my Rorschach mask, thinking it might be too scary for kids.  Good thing there wasn't a SINGLE kid that came in.  Gee, I wonder what small children were doing tonight?  Friggin' geniuses.

Rosey, if you read this, we need to be the D next year if you're around.  I'll be KG, you be JB.
