And then you wonder how you could have missed all that seemingly pretty standard information, but somehow you feel too ashamed to ask for clarification because it seems like info you should already know? It happens to all of us sometimes.

Dad is Chris Bieniek, former Editor-In-Chief of Tips & Tricks magazine, and is probably, if I really thought about it, my best friend. Mom I don't get along with as much because we don't have many interests in common, and she smokes and drinks like a fiend which I detest. But she has a good heart and did a good job raising me so I guess that's all that should count.

No, I haven't been jacked by shitty copyright laws. All I wanted to do was change my username to rickybieniek.

There should just be a fucking option for that. Twitter can do it. It's not like it's impossible. Let me change my fucking username! What's the big taboo? Why should I be locked into ONE NAME for forever?

But no, I can't. I figure, no big, I'll just make a new account. So I sign up as rickybieniek.

Oh, hey. Turns out youtube has started some bullshit where you literally can't have a youtube with out also having a google account.

Okay, fine. That's total bullshit, but fine. I have a google account. It's metaknuckles@gmail.com. But uh-oh! I can't use metaknuckles@gmail.com, because it's already linked to metaknuckles1337 on youtube. (Yes that was my username. You can see why I wanted to change it.)

So great. I look around for options to "unlink" my google account and my youtube account. Youtube seems to have an option for that. Great.

But what's this? "You signed in through google, so change your email options there." That's... annoying. But okay.

So I go to google. Poke around for anything even remotely looking like that. And hey, there's on option under the google dashboard for managing the youtube account linked to it. But guess where that link takes me? 

Yeah. To the same goddamn page on youtube that sent me to google in the first place. It's literally the endless dictionary entry loop.

Already at this point I'm ready to put my fist through the computer screen. I'm left with no options. So I deleted my youtube account.

But, like an idiot, I figure, I might as well make a new, more normal-sounding email address while I'm at it.

So I did. I made rickybieniek@gmail.com.

Now I try to make that youtube account again using my new google account. But whoops! rickybieniek is taken.

Yeah, by me, you CUNTS. You'd think, if youtube finished making the account, I could log into it, but I can't. Because its not linked to a google account. I can't link it to a google account because I CAN'T FUCKING LOG IN.

Let's recap. Youtube CREATED a problem for me, sent me on a WILD GOOSE CHASE in attempting to solve it, and at the end of the day, was even nice enough to go ahead and make it IMPOSSIBLE TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM.

As for me? I dunno guys - I'm not good at this whole putting my feelings out there thing. I've never really been comfortable talking about how I feel or what's going on in my life but I guess here goes.

I haven't been happy. Nothing bad's happened, I'm not sick, I'm just... unhappy. I haven't felt like working on Shades of Green, I haven't felt like going to school, I haven't felt like doing anything. You know it's bad when you don't even feel like going to bed. I'm just not feeling it lately and it sucks. If I knew what brought this on I would probably feel better about it, but that's the worst part: I don't really have a reason to be depressed. Nothing bad's happened... I guess, in the end, that's just it - Nothing's happened, period. I'm in a rut. I've tired myself out. I just don't feel like doing anything anymore.

I feel like I'm wasting my time at school. I can't say that without sounding like a cocky jackass but it's just how I feel. I draw. That's my thing. I wanna do art. But here I am suffering through Biology twice a week because it's a required class for an AA. It's bullshit. I don't need to know the difference between prokaryotic and eukaryotic cell division. It's the most brutally soul-sucking thing I've ever subjected myself to.

Last semester I took Drawing and Computer Art and Art Appreciation and, gasp! I actually LEARNED things that will HELP me - only to find out all of them were considered "electives" as part of the art degree I was going for, and that I still need like 40 credit hours under Science and Math and Humanities and WHY, GOD.

I wouldn't call it being lazy - I've been doing everything required of me - it's just... I really don't feel like doing anything. I know I'm belaboring the point but there's really no better words to describe how I feel right now. I just don't feel like it.

I don't even feel like typing anymore. I'm gonna go make mac and cheese.

Fortunately I was able to reinstall Windows without losing any of my files - computer works again!

Proceeded to back up all my important stuff but now I have a weird problem - when I go to shut down, it tells me I've exceeded the "maximum profile storage space" and I need to move stuff to local storage. Never had this problem before, as I only have one profile on my computer, where I store everything. So that's weird to begin with -

but weirder still is that the number I apparently went over is 10240 KB.

Um. What?

I have single folders with over 4 gigs of stuff in them, and I've never had this problem before.

So... wtf.

But oh well. The computer's working again, for now.

Hey gang. In one night my computer went from working perfectly to not even starting up in Safe Mode.

Sadly I have no idea how to go about fixing this problem, so it may be a good while until you see anything else from me.

I'll keep you posted, but don't get your hopes up. =/

Been a while since I've updated this thing.

Here's what's going on with me:

Shades of Green is, what, two weeks behind? Yikes. I'm sorry about that. There's just been a lot going on lately!

3 weeks ago my grandpa fell and broke his bad arm. He's in a lot of pain and, well, isn't a good patient. So we've been looking out for him and on top of that my newest 1st cousin was born last week! Jackson is a shockingly chill baby, he just kind of lets you hold him, looks around, stares at you, yawns, just kind of goes with it. He barely cries and when he does it's more of a squeak, just to get your attention. So between taking care of grandpa and spending time with the baby I've been running all over.

Besides that, I wasn't feeling very well for about a week in that span. No symptoms really, just a total lack of energy and an overall crappy feeling. I'm doing a lot better now though!

Except for this goddamn knee twitch that's been plaguing me - I've been getting little sleep lately because of it spazzing out through all hours of the night. Anybody ever experience anything like that before? It's not painful at all, but it's UNBEARABLY ANNOYING. So of course now that I'm feeling better and doing less running around, I've been running on precious little sleep!

I'm sure it all just sounds like I'm making excuses, and I guess I am. A lot of it, moreso than being busy or feeling sick, is that I just don't have the drive to work on the comic right now. But in my defense, it's very difficult to work up that drive when you're sick / tired!

I can't promise you when Shades of Green will be back, but I can promise you that it will. Unfortunately, I have a life right now that demands my attention. (And no, actually, I'm not being sarcastic - nothing would make me happier than to sit down and pound out the pages!)
